As a child, I always enjoyed watching cooking or cake decorating shows and being in the kitchen. Whether it was with my mom or grandma or just experimenting by myself. It wasn't until 2014 after I had my son and wanted something to help me get over my new mom blues that I started REALLY getting into baking.
What started off as a mental escape, quickly became a newfound hobby that I really enjoyed. I started testing out all these crazy cake flavor ideas that were spinning in my head. Low and behold, my little circle loved my dessert creations. As I baked, I started to fall in love with the cake decorating also.
Although, I enjoyed baking and took a few orders here and there. I kept my talents hidden for some time. Mostly, because I just don’t like to be in the spotlight. It wasn’t until two of my high school classmates tasted my cakes, they were so impressed and gave me a boost to step out and go public with my cakes. More orders started coming in and news spread via word of mouth and before I knew, S-Quisite Treats was born.
